Warning: Semi-Sensible Post Follows

I'm treating my lovely bike to new plastic bits and stickers.  Inside the white plastic bit that covers the exhaust there is some shiny metally stuff, presumably a heat shield to stop the exhaust melting the plastic.

It's unlikely to come off easily so, 1, does it actually serve a useful porpoise and 2, where do I get some if I need it?

confuse

Is it aluminium baco foil HM? If you double it up you've a NASA approved heat shield. Sensible post ... my left foot. Off to catch Bass in the morning any French personages encountered will be treated to an assemblage of vernacular verbal pomposity that befits there stoopid fekking froggie fekker language.

Hi Jacque! 😀

I heard the big fish were, as usual, appearing Sidmouth n East. I've had a couple of 1kg fish not kept one yet as caught close to Corbyn head in middle of day... Out early tomorrow n hoping to bring back a couple of 1-2kg fish. have a good Ceviche marinade with lime, coriander, ginger n red pepper.

Tim, I've had a good look but can't find it.

You may be able to get the old one off with boiling water and or a heat gun if you can lift an edge.

This is the sort of stuff you want https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Fairing-Panel-Exhaust-Engine-HEAT-SHIELD-Self-Adhesive-Sheet-New-/140889796676

I have used foiled tape before to good effect but I guess you want it to be right with a new panel.

Sternish talking to well delivered regarding being on topic! An excellent result for anyone who has a study like of the HM. Chin scratching ruminations and puzzlement ....Do we think Arthur Ashes' ashes were scattered on the New York tennis court named after him?

Hoes? Tools or implements what sort of gardening?

Tim he's gone off topic again, doesn't he realise this is a silver foil page.

Can I ask a question about sticky back plastic on here cos I've found another 8 rolls of various patterns.
Sorry to be a bother and thanks for listening.

The though of Arthur Ashes ashes did give me a small Yule grinner x

The aluminium foil tape I have, Ebay cheap but available from screwfix and toolstation as well. Its what is used for jointing insulation boards.

Just where da feck does Angela's Ashes get gathered? Would sticky back plastic applied to the fingers of crematorium workers give them more of a connection with their work? Suck your thumb n think on it....👍
